The 4-track EP Songs From a Room came to life when Gabriele Palmieri, a successful songwriter and composer of film scores, was introduced to Kenneth whilst searching for someone to do vocals for songs he had written in English. All tracks were recorded in Gabriele's small room studio except
I need your love which was recorded with local singer-songwriter and producer Marco Fabi in his studio on the outskirts of Rome.

Laid Bare
Produced, arranged, composed and performed by Kenneth Hennigan.
Laid Bare is a much more personal collection of tracks, consisting mostly of stripped down acoustic guitar and vocals, letting Kenneth's clear melodies shine through. Recording was done in a tiny apartment in Rome using the bare bones of equipment: one condenser mic, an acoustic guitar, several cups of tea … and a whole lot of hope.

This collection comprises several tracks written early in Kenneth's career. A couple of tracks include contributions from musician friends, including the hugely talented Marco Testa (Semaphore) and the mercurial Paul Rossi. The recordings were real old school stuff: if a take came out wrong, it was a case of "delete the lot and start again." Enjoy!
